Managing Director of Smart Grids Austria
Christoph Wanzenböck is managing director of the technology platform Smart Grids Austria (TP SGA) and consultant for digitalization, standardization & standardization, energy & infrastructure at the Electrical & Electronics Industry Association (FEEI). His work focuses on promoting innovative technologies and designing sustainable framework conditions for the energy system of tomorrow. With priorities such as smart grids, renewable energies, interoperability, flexibility, e-mobility, standardization and digitalization, he is committed to a sustainable and efficient energy transition in Austria.
The presentation deals with the development and advantages of smart grids. It explains how smart grids can use modern technologies to make energy distribution more efficient and flexible, better integrate renewable energies and increase security of supply.
