Prof. (FH) DI Dr. Gernot Hanreich is the Head of the Department for Energy & Environment at the University of Applied Sciences Burgenland and also serves as its Rector. He is an active board member of the Burgenland Eco-Energy Fund and Deputy Chair of the Josef Ressel Senate at the Christian Doppler Research Association. Additionally, he is a member of the Research Council in Burgenland and Deputy Chair of the Scientific Advisory Board of JOANNEUM RESEARCH Forschungsgesellschaft mbH. In his lecture, he will highlight future opportunities for young people in this important field.
