Barbara Hettegger is an Energy and Environmental Consultant at DIE UMWELTBERATUNG.
She advises consumers on energy-related topics and supports people from households at risk of poverty to prevent energy consumption from becoming a financial burden. Additionally, she trains apprentices and young people who are eager to learn, guiding them on their journey to earning the energy license ®.
The lecture shows where it is easy to save energy within your own four walls: in heating, electricity and hot water. Saving energy means reducing the use of resources and using less fossil energy. This is not only good for your wallet, but also for the climate. The concept of the ecological handprint as a supplement to the ecological footprint is also explained.
